PR-75 is an alcohol-soluble pure phenolic resin for selected flexographic inks, road-marking paints and lacquers. Its use in milk-pouch, LDPE or low-temperature packaging inks requires formulation, performance and regulatory review; no food-contact approval is implied. Is pure phenolic resin the same as rosin-modified phenolic resin?
No. PR-75 is a pure phenolic resin, while PR-140 and PR-142 are rosin-modified phenolic resins. They differ in chemistry, technical values and formulation role, so they should not be treated as interchangeable.
